A man has appeared in court accused of murdering his wife and another woman. 

Amy Appleton and Sandy Seagrave were both found dead outside a house in Hazel Way in Crawley Down on the 22nd December.  Both women died from head injuries.

Daniel Appleton was remanded in custody after appearing at Crawley Magistrates’ Court earlier today.  The 37 year old will appear at Lewes Crown Court later this week.
