Strengthening and repair works on the Oxted viaduct will start from next week. 

The main works will start on Monday with scaffolding construction. The work will establish the number of repairs needed to strengthen the viaduct to improve its life expectancy and allow trains to pass safely.  Some night and weekend working will be required.

The work on the Oxted viaduct is part of a £66,000,000 programme of works across Network Rail’s portfolio of track and metallic structures.
