Crawley visitors can support the homeless in a quick tap, with new contactless terminals installed in the town.
Crawley Borough Council has teamed up with non-profit organisation, Greater Change, to trial a new way of giving. Shoppers can donate directly to a local charity or a person with a particular goal. Each person on the scheme is nominated by their support worker and the money will be used to help that individual reach their goal. This could include raising money for rent deposit or an educational course.
You can find a terminal at different locations in the town including County Mall Shopping Centre, the K2 Leisure Centre and Tilgate Forest Golf Centre.
