The Environment Agency has announced that groundwater flooding is possible in parts of East Surrey, following the recent higher than average rainfall. 

The Environment Agency says the Caterham Bourne between Woldingham and Purley is now flowing but is not currently an increasing flood risk.

The situation is being monitored as further rainfall could cause groundwater levels to rise further.
