The monitoring centre for Crawley Borough Council’s Lifeline service will be managed by a new contractor from 1 April.
Lifeline is the council’s personal alarm system, allowing customers to access emergency services at the touch of a button, 24/7.
Currently, calls are managed by Chichester Care Centre but from April, Mole Valley Life will take over.
This change will also affect the council’s 550 Sheltered Housing tenancies. All lifeline customers have been contacted and provided with information on the take over.
