British Airways has announced it will suspend all flights from Gatwick Airport until further notice due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

It follows Easyjet’s decision after the government advised against all but essential travel. British Airways, Easyjet and Virgin Atlantic are among the airlines working with the government to fly Britons back to the UK.

BA is still flying from its main hub at Heathrow Airport.
