Staff at two local Independent schools have been working hard to support key workers and the NHS.
Reigate Grammar School has sent a large supply of Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE, to NHS Trusts in Surrey. These include goggles, face shields and gloves, and also protective masks and polythene aprons. Staff from the Design Technology Department used the school’s laser cutter and materials to produce new face shields and visors for local NHS staff.
Staff at Woldingham School have made visors, using the school’s 3D printers, for frontline community clinicians across East Surrey. The visors have been sent to GP practices in Oxted and Redhill.
