A care provider in Surrey’s reported a 134% increase in calls for help from vulnerable or at-risk people prior to the Easter break.
‘Crossroads Care Surrey’ has pledged to continue supporting those in need and has partnered with other charities, volunteer hubs and independent retailers to provide help to those in isolation.
Although face-to-face care’s stopped, it’ll be coordinating with various groups to offer telephone support and deliveries such as medicine and hot food.
If you or anyone you know requires support, Crossroads can be contacted on 07914 186 162. More information can be found at: https://crossroadscaresurrey.org.uk
