Surrey Police have hailed an operation to ensure drivers share the road safely with cyclists and horse riders as a success.
The operation, code named Safe Pass, took place over the weekend, in an attempt to cut down on irresponsible activity, including driver not allowing enough room when passing people not using motor vehicles, or cyclists making it difficult to pass.
As part of the operation, a plain clothes police officer cycled the roads with video equipment to identify dangerous driving.
In total, forty-four cyclists and twenty-three motorists were stopped and spoken to.
