Parking charges are set to resume in Mid Sussex car parks from today.
Charges were suspended in Mid Sussex District Council car parks on 30th March to help residents park safely during the coronavirus pandemic and to release on-street parking spaces for key workers travelling to and from work. Parking fees in Mid Sussex will be reintroduced now that lockdown restrictions are starting to ease. NHS staff and care workers displaying valid permits will continue to receive free parking in car parks and designated on-street parking bays.
In the Tandridge District Council area, parking charges in all council car parks remain suspended until the 30th June.
Mole Valley District Council owned car parks also remain free during June. Mole Valley state they will reinstate charges from 6th July.
