A new family centre has opened in Tandridge.
The centre will be run by children’s charity Barnardo’s, on behalf of Surrey County Council. It offers support and outreach to the most vulnerable families with children under the age of 11. Families must be referred to the service through Surrey County Council’s Single Point of Access. The centre will also offer a range of group work programmes either in person or virtually. Groups may include support and advice about parenting and behaviour, substance abuse, or mental health.
The family centre will be based at Hurst Green Infant School until a permanent building can be found.
