Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was chased down Fir Tree Road in Banstead, by another man holding what appeared to be two large kitchen knives.

The victim was unharmed, and a 29-year-old man from Wandsworth was arrested the following day on suspicion of Attempted Grievous Bodily Harm, Affray and Stalking.

The suspect has been released on bail while investigations continue.
