A Reigate man’s appeared in court charged with the murder of an 87-year-old woman.

Guy Douglas Unmack, 45, was arrested in June following the death of Rosemary Hill.

Mrs Hill was seriously assaulted in Warren Road on Sunday, 21 June and died four days later in hospital as a result of her injuries.

Her family are receiving support from specially trained officers at Surrey Police.

Unmack was arrested on Sunday, 21 June on suspicion of attempted murder. Following his arrest, he was assessed and detained under the Mental Health Act
