A Crawley lorry driver has appeared in court charged with causing the death of a man during last year’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.

Ron Carey, 80, from Canada died and his wife sustained serious injuries in a collision with a lorry on the M23 near Junction 7 while driving a vintage car from 1903.

Michael Black from Maidenbower is to attend Guildford Crown Court next week in relation to the incident.
