Horley Recreation Ground’s new Café Pavilion is complete.
New tenants ‘The Farmyard Kitchen’ have taken over the stylish structure, which will provide space for visitors to relax and eat. The new café is set to open in the New Year, in line with Government restrictions.
A Horley Town Council spokesperson said: “We hope that the new Café will provide a unique space to relax and enjoy a nice meal or to simply eat on the go with lots of healthier options and a variety of homemade selections too. Through popular appeal, it can also accommodate a comfortable al fresco dining space in fine weather.”
They added: “The Town Council is delighted to have reached conclusion of this major capital project and initiating this exciting new milestone for Horley. We hope that alongside the many popular recreational facilities already available, that the new tennis courts, extended car park and soft landscaping will be seen to transform the park into a flagship recreation ground. We would also like to thank our tenants of the Horley Bowling club for their full support during the construction period.
“Finally, we would like to thank all residents and visitors for their continued co-operation in maintaining Government guidelines on the safe use of our play and recreational equipment at Horley Town Council parks and open spaces in recent months and continue to do so.”
