Two adventure playgrounds are to close in Crawley despite pleas from parents.

The decision was made after the council said both Creasys Drive and Millpond Adventure Playgrounds had seen a 68% drop in usage over the past 20 years.

The council said the closure would save a considerable amount of money.

A petition to save the playgrounds was previously launched but didn’t receive enough signatures to be debated by the full council.
