Community groups and charities have been awarded grants from Crawley Borough Council totalling just over £300,000.
A range of grants have been awarded for new and existing activity that will benefit Crawley residents and visitors. Six not-for-profit organisations have been awarded new grants. Among those benefiting from new grants are Crawley Community Youth Service, Age UK’s Community Clubs, and Crawley Open House outreach support, which each receive almost £30,000. Crawley Festival, the West Sussex Mediation Service, and Forget Me Nots which supports dementia carers, will also receive new grants.
Twelve other organisations will receive funding for a further year.
