The Tandridge Lottery has been celebrating its second winner this month.
Mrs E from Godstone won £2,000 in last week’s draw just seven days after an Oxted resident did the same.
The lottery supports 160 local charities and has raised more £200,000 pounds since it started three years ago.
Mrs E said: “It feels great to have won! I was watching TV with my children when I found out. I went upstairs to tell my husband quietly, so the boys wouldn’t get too excited, but they heard me. The winnings will go towards our holiday in Wales.
It’s good to buy the tickets as you can choose which charities get helped.”
Mrs E’s chosen charity is South Godstone Sports Association, as she feels it is an asset to her village.
