Mole Valley District Council has raised the Armed Forces flag at its Dorking office in support of Armed Forces Day.

The event which falls on this Saturday, will also see Mole Valley Veterans’ Hub mark their official launch by way of a family BBQ at Ashtead Recreation Ground.

Armed Forces Day takes place each year to provide an opportunity for the whole country to express its appreciation of the involvement and sacrifices made by the men and women who serve, or have served, in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces.
