Gatwick boss Stewart Wingate says the cost of Covid-19 PCR tests for travellers is too high.

While welcoming the news those double vaccinated from the EU and USA will not have to isolate if they show a negative test, Mr Wingate says the cheaper lateral flow test should be used as in some other countries.

The current EU exception is France where travellers must still quarantine regardless of their vaccine status.
