A volunteer marshal from Surrey has sadly died after an accident on Saturday at the Brands Hatch circuit. 

The man in his 60s died at the scene after he was hit by a car which crashed during a race.  A second person was also hit and was taken to hospital with the driver of the car.

02In a statement, The British Automobile Racing Club said it is devastated by the loss and said their thoughts and best wishes are with the family and friends of all those involved.  BARC is now working with the local police and the national governing body, Motorsport UK.
