£8,800,000 in funding has been awarded to facilities and local services in Reigate and Banstead.
Investment in health services, school expansion and cycleways are among the projects to benefit.
The money has been collected by the Council through the Community Infrastructure Levy, a charge imposed on new developments to support local services and infrastructure.
Among the larger schemes earmarked for funding are the Environment Agency’s flood alleviation measures for the Redhill and Burstow stream.
The Local Fund for smaller neighbourhood projects, include new planters and tree planting in various local towns, and a new transmitter for Susy Radio.
Those with ideas for specific projects, can complete a form on Reigate and Banstead Borough Council’s website.
