A man has been charged and a further arrest has been made in connection with an ongoing murder investigation after the discovery of a woman’s body on the A3 near Guildford on Monday 23 August.
 
 
41-year-old Helen Anderson was found by a member of the public. 52-year-old Dane Messam, from Henry Road in Hackney has been charged with murder and has been remanded into custody.

A 51-year-old man from Hackney has been released on bail after he was arrested in connection with the murder. Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses and are keen to speak with anyone who saw a decommissioned double decker bus around the Guildford area.
