Southeastern passengers can enjoy over five thousand more seats on its Railway service into London, from mid-September.
With nearly 70 extra carriages, commuters will experience a much more comfortable journey.
Network Rail has spent £1.8bn on improvements in the past 18 months, while managing director for the South, John Halsall, said that some coronavirus measures will still be in place.
Govia Thameslink is providing up to a thousand more trains for students and commuters, as coronavirus restrictions ease and railway use increases.
The transfer of carriages will come from the Southern and Thameslink services and will be modified for Southeastern’s use.
On the Southern Service, a train will run every half-hour on the Uckfield to London Bridge route to aid the peak time rush, compared to the previous hourly service.
Southeastern has also promised to introduce more frequent services and longer trains with the aid of 68 extra carriages.
