A club night exclusively for adults with learning disabilities, is being held at 7:30 tonight (3rd September) in Crawley.
The Big Life Events service aims at providing real life clubbing experiences at the Redz Bar. It follows the #StayUpLate campaign, providing adults with learning difficulties the right to an active social life.
‘Peak 15’, the organisation hosting the event, hopes to create equality for these people by providing the opportunity to dance, meet new people and find romance.
The night will include a glitter and glam stool, neon accessories and a photo booth.
It is also in support of the #nobedtime campaign, encouraging staff to work until midnight to ensure people can get home safe, with the club closing at 11:30pm.
The venue will have disabled toilets and accessible parking for all. Also, Covid safety measures will be maintained.
Tickets cost £8 and can be bought by contacting the ‘Peak 15’ team on 07712 672661.
