Surrey’s roads will be in new hands next year. 

Surrey County Council has awarded its highways maintenance contract to Ringway to improve the county’s roads and pavements. The contract was awarded to Ringway following a 12 month procurement process.  They will carry out road repairs and resurfacing as well as the upkeep of drains, winter gritting and snow clearing.

Ringway will take over from Kier in April 2022.  The contract will run for 10 years initially with the potential to be extended up to 21 years.
