Crawley council house tenants could be getting rent refunds.

It is after it was found some had been overcharged when the system changed from a 48-week year to a 52-week year in April 2014.

The council believes around 20% of tenants are affected and only those living in existing buildings and not new builds who have become tenants since April 2014.

Those who have paid too much will receive a letter detailing the next steps.
