A man who carried out an assault on a woman in a hotel bedroom at Gatwick has been jailed.

33-year-old Craig Goodwin had not long been released from prison for assaulting the same person, and was in breach of a restraining order from contacting her, However, he went to the hotel with her on the 25th September.

Goodwin was said to have become jealous when he saw the woman talking with other men in the hotel bar.
He then assaulted her in the early hours of the morning on 26th September.

He was sentenced at Lewes Crown Court for a total of three years and three months.
