Gatwick Airport annual report shows an encouraging end to 2021 with passenger numbers exceeding 1 million in August, September, October and December.
The rise in passengers reduced Gatwick’s yearly losses to £370.6 million from £465.5 million the previous year.
Large increases in short-haul flying routes and demand in Long haul flights from the airport indicate a strong 2022 summer.
The south terminal will reopen at the end of this month.
