The MP for Crawley, Henry Smith, has welcomed a new campaign from the Government to boost the take up of Pension Credit in the town.
There’s currently just under 1800 claimants in Crawley, but around 25 per cent of people who could claim the extra help, do not currently do so.
At present, it means they are missing out on an average of £3,300 a year in extra support.
Henry said, “This will help people prepare, and save for later in life.”
