A man from Crawley has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was found with stab wounds.

39-year-old Abdul-Malik Neal of Midhurst Close was arrested after the woman was found with life threatening injuries on May 1.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Lewes Crown Court on May 31.

The victim remains in hospital in a serious condition.
