Passengers aboard an easyJet flight experienced a surprise encounter when their flight was intercepted by a Spanish Air Force jet.
The flight had left Gatwick Airport whilst heading to Menorca when the encounter occurred.
A video of the F18 visitor was uploaded to Twitter and has now been shared over 250 times.

A statement issued by easyJet said: flight EZY8303 from London Gatwick to Menorca on 3 July, was escorted by military aircraft while landing in Menorca and delayed disembarking due to precautionary security checks.
