Cinemagoers in Sussex may soon have to travel further afield to watch the latest blockbuster.

Six venues including one in Crawley could be among 100 screens across the country, which are at risk of closure as the cinema chain ‘Cineworld’ faces bankruptcy.

It’s been reported that rescue talks were being held to help the company which continues to suffer from a downward trend in cinema attendance after the pandemic.
