West Sussex residents have been asked to return unused walking aids that can be recycled to help others. 

Crutches, sticks and frames that are no longer needed can be taken to any of the 11 Recycling Centres across West Sussex during Recycle Week which is from 19th and 25th September. 

The items will be cleaned and checked before being reissued to those who might benefit.

The Recycling Centres at Crawley, East Grinstead and Horsham are among the sites accepting unused walking aids.
