Gatwick Airport says it will fly to almost 90% of pre-pandemic destinations this October half term.
The Airport will serve 172 destinations this week compared to 197 in the same period in 2019. Top destinations for half term getaways include Dublin, Barcelona and Malaga, while Dubai, New York and Orlando are the most popular long haul destinations.
Chief Commercial Officer, Jonathan Pollard, said the airport has recruited “more than 400 new security staff” during the summer to be “well resourced for half term and beyond”.
