Crawley Borough Council has opposed a proposal for a new Center Parcs holiday village in Oldhouse Warren.
At the full council meeting last week, it stated its objection for the holiday village comprising up to 900 lodges, a restaurant and swimming complex across 553 acres of Worth Forest to the south of Maidenbower. The Council supported environmental concerns raised by the Sussex Planning for Nature Group; it will set out its concerns to Center Parcs, and also to Mid Sussex District Council who will consider and determine the planning application for the site.
Sussex Wildlife Trust has welcomed Crawley Borough Council’s opposition to the development.
