A £17.4 million boost for bus service improvements in West Sussex has been approved.
The successful bid is aimed at increasing bus passenger numbers which will help the local economy and reduce congestion.
The government cash injection will fund discounted travel for 16-21 year-old, improved bus stops and improvements to bus lanes in Crawley.
Joy Dennis, cabinet member for Highways and Transport, says it’s ‘excellent’ news for the whole county.
