Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has warned that patients can expect some disruption this week due to strike action from some of its junior doctors.
The Trust which runs East Surrey Hospital says it is trying to minimise disruption and maintain as much routine care as possible. Patients should attend any appointments as planned unless the hospital has contacted them to rearrange.
The industrial action announced by the British Medical Association started at 7 o’clock this morning and will continue until 7 am on Thursday.
