Gatwick’s passenger volumes are expected to return close to pre-pandemic levels this summer.

Boss Stewart Wingate told the Financial Times demand for short-haul has led to a recovery in numbers.

He also added they are working really hard to make sure the airport is ready and says airlines assure him they have enough staff.
