Nearly £1 Million pounds has been awarded to Surrey County Council from the Department of Transport.

The money is going towards investing in creating more walking and cycling routes across Surrey, as well as developing “liveable neighbourhoods”.

These are areas which are “people-centred” and have an infrastructure such as 20 mile per hour zones making it safer to walk and cycle.
