Water saving device saves council tenants £300 per year

Council tenants in Crawley are saving on average £300 per year on their water bill thanks to a water saving device that is fitted in their home.

More than 1,350 households are saving a combined 90,000 litres of water a day. Since last summer they’ve save enough water to fill the Olympic sized swimming pool at K2 four times.

The device regulates the flow of water and stabilises the water pressure which results in water being heated efficiently.

Crawley Borough Council is working with Cenergist to roll out a programme to improve water efficiency in council properties.
