Redhill’s residents and visitors can share their views on the Public Space Protection Order currently covering the Town Centre.
Reigate and Banstead Borough Council have launched an online survey today which coincides with Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week.
The public are asked for their views on the protection order’s impact during the past three years, and on a proposal to extend the area it covers. Redhill’s current protection order covers the pedestrianised shopping precinct, Memorial Park and the area around the railway pedestrian underpass. The Council wants to extend the area to include Clarendon Road car park.

The Public Space Protection Order gives the police and council powers to intervene early, preventing anti social behaviour escalating into crime.
You can submit your views on the survey at reigate-banstead.gov.uk/redhill-pspo. The survey will be open from 3rd July until 11th August.
