More than 300 vehicles were stopped by Sussex police as part of a national campaign to enforce seatbelt use in the county.
The campaign ran from the 5th to 25th June and a total of 186 motorists were issued with a traffic offence.
In addition to those not wearing a seatbelt, officers, detected a significant number of other offences such as drink and drug driving, possession of offensive weapons and driving without a licence.
