Gatwick Airport Station has had a major upgrade and opens to passengers next Tuesday the 21st November. 

The £250,000,000 refurbishment includes a new concourse, airport entrance and remodelled track, that Network Rail say will ease congestion and improve train journey times. 

Accessibility has been improved with new lifts, escalators, stairways and wider platforms.  The work, which began in 2020, will mean an easier journey from train to plane, but hasn’t been straightforward as Network Rail’s Project Director, Mark Summers told BBC Radio Surrey:
