Officers are continuing to investigate after a serious sexual assault that took place in Banstead on 31 October.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape and attempted robbery and has been released on bail.

The incident is believed to have taken place in the open land between Cuddington Meadows and Banstead Downs Golf Club between 7am and 7.30am
