Surrey Cricket’s new signing Dan Lawrence says moving away from his boyhood club of Essex was tough but will allow him to grow as a player. 

The 26-year-old, England international has joined Sussex on an initial three-year-deal.

Speaking about his move he says he will miss Essex but Sussex is in his view a bigger club which will help him become a better cricketer.
