Crawley Borough Council Announces Tree Strategy

Crawley Borough Council have approved a Tree Planting Strategy.

The council currently own around a quarter of a million trees with thousands more that are either publicly or privately owned.

The strategy sets out how the council will maintain and improve the woodland and other trees in it’s annual planting programme.

Presently, the amount owned by the council is around 26% of the borough, compared to 16% nationally.
