Council tenants and leaseholders are invited to meet the Housing Ombudsman for England, Richard Blakeway.
You will hear more about the free support the organisation can provide to help you resolve housing management issues.
The event will take place on Friday 8 March 2024 from 1pm to 2pm at Crawley Town Hall.
Residents can either join in-person or they can attend from another location, by using a virtual link to Microsoft Teams. If you’d like to meet the Ombudsman, sign up using our online booking form.
If you can’t access the form, you can email tenantparticipation@crawley.gov.uk or call 07393 761666. Please leave a message and we will call you back.
You will have the chance to ask Richard questions on all aspects of the Housing Ombudsman Service and how it can help if you have a housing complaint that you don’t think has been dealt with well. The types of complaints the Housing Ombudsman can deal with include:
- disrepair
- anti-social behaviour
- complaint handling
- damp and mould
- adaptations
- charges
- leasehold
- other housing management issues
The Housing Ombudsman will not be discussing individual complaints at the event.
