A fund of £128,000 has been created to support independent and small shops in Crawley, and to pay for town centre improvement works. 

Businesses in Crawley town centre and neighbourhood parades will be able to bid for grants of up to £5,000 to improve their shop fronts.  This could be for minor building works, or lighting and decoration. 

The Shop Front and High Street Improvement Programme will also support small scale physical improvements to The Broadway, Broadwalk and the High Street.  The fund replaces the council’s Retail Improvement Grant Scheme.
