Members of the 17th Reigate St Joseph’s Scout group are asking for donations to raise funds for a new minibus.
On the 28th March their original bus was stolen outside from the scout headquarters, but was found a short time later in woodland completely burnt out after the engine had been removed.
The funds are being raised to cover any shortfall between the insurance company payment and the purchase of a new bus.
The group say they have several camps, events and activities coming up which require transport, but this act of mindless vandalism now puts them in jeopardy.
Anyone who can assist in raising funds or make a donation to the group would be gratefully received.
